Join Us in Celebrating the Fourth-Annual National Propane Day
National Propane Day, October 7, will be here before we know it! This year’s theme is Prepare with Propane. Propane helps families, farmers, business owners, and communities prepare for severe weather by providing reliable, resilient power that won’t be disrupted by natural disasters.
Propane also helps people across America prepare for the holiday season and gatherings with friends and family by powering energy-efficient appliances throughout the home.
PERC will launch National Propane Day resources and materials for marketers in July, but in the meantime, “prepare” to Prepare with Propane!

How do you help your community prepare with propane?
The Propane Champions Story Station is a place for propane industry members to share stories about how they make a difference in their communities. Inspired by disaster relief efforts during the 2024 hurricane season and the California wildfires in January 2025, PERC is collecting these stories to showcase how the industry, powered by its people, contributes to strong, resilient communities all year long. Stories about helping during a crisis, safety initiatives, innovative energy solutions, service projects, community events, and everyday customer interactions are all part of this narrative.
The stories will be captured on video at the Story Station and used to tell the propane resiliency story throughout the year and in the lead-up to National Propane Day.
