Discover Propane-Powered Innovation at Husker Harvest Days with Propane Education & Research Council
Propane equipment will be on display to demonstrate the clean energy’s role in efficient, sustainable agriculture operations
WASHINGTON (September 2024) — The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) is excited to announce its participation at Husker Harvest Days, September 10-12, in Grand Island, Nebraska. This year, producers will explore the latest advancements in propane technology and learn more on how to revolutionize farm operations by stopping by the Nebraska Propane Gas Association (NePGA), booth number 654, on West Fifth Street.
Attendees will engage in a variety of high-efficiency propane-powered equipment through live demonstrations. Featured equipment includes:
- Irrigation Engines: View a live demonstration and learn more about the consistent performance and significant fuel savings of EPA-certified propane irrigation engines, including engines by Anderson Industrial, Husker Power Products, and Reliable Horsepower.
- Propane Generators: Explore the unique advantages of utilizing propane for backup power solutions, keeping farm operations running smoothly anytime and anywhere.
At the NePGA booth, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with industry experts, gain insights, and enter giveaways—including a Grizzly cooler. In addition, farmers can apply or learn more about PERC’s Propane Farm Incentive Program. This program offers up to $5,000 towards the purchase of qualifying propane equipment, plus an additional $750 incentive available for Nebraska producers through the Nebraska Propane Gas Association.
“The annual Husker Harvest Days show provides a great opportunity to discuss the many benefits of propane farm equipment directly with the producers who can benefit from it most,” Mike Newland, PERC’s director of agriculture business development, said. “These invaluable discussions ensure we’re putting farmers’ specific needs first, answering their questions and learning firsthand about their own experiences.”
Knowledgeable manufacturer representatives, as well as NePGA and PERC representatives, will be readily available at the booth to address inquiries, discuss the benefits of propane agricultural equipment, and provide information on incentives available toward equipment purchases.
