With over 200 episodes of construction and design television under his belt, residential construction expert Anthony Carrino has seen his fair share of homes. As a contractor, he has done everything from restoring some of the most architecturally significant buildings in Jersey City to renovating his own home that relies on propane in the Catskill Mountains.
The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) caught up with Anthony at the 2024 International Builders’ Show, a tradeshow that highlights the latest innovations and trends in construction to over 100,000 attendees. Anthony and the PERC crew toured the Genesis Homes modular model home to learn more about the home’s propane-powered appliances, including a furnace, clothes dryer, cooking range, water heater, and outdoor fire table.
