As more customers are demanding the energy efficiency, comfort, and sustainability that propane appliances bring to a home, the Propane Construction Incentive Program can be a powerful financial resource to help construction professionals meet those requests for propane more affordably.
Through the program, builders and remodelers have the option to incorporate three or more propane applications into projects to be eligible for the incentive, which offers four levels of financial packages ranging between $500 to $1,500 per home. The eligibility levels encourage construction professionals to consider an integrated, whole-home energy upgrade that includes using propane for space heating, water heating, cooking, fireplaces, clothes drying, and standby power.
There are many qualifying combinations for the incentives, but below is an example of each package.
Package 1 ($1,500) – Full Comfort & Efficiency

- Clothes dryer.
- Fireplace.
Package 2 ($1,000) – Essential Needs
- Furnace.
- Storage tank water heater.
- Cooking range.
- Fireplace.
Package 3 ($750) – Strategic Applications

- Oven.
- Fireplace.
- Standby generator.
Package 4 ($500) – Basic Package
- Tankless water heater.
