After a long day on the road, all that most visitors want on arrival to Ruby’s Inn, near Utah’s Bryce Canyon National Park, is a hot shower. But with busloads of tourists arriving at once, the 700-room resort was struggling to keep up with hot water demand. The resulting cold showers were enough for some guests to ask for their money back, causing the resort to lost around $60,000 each year in discounts and refunds. To avoid further losses and ensure patrons could relax upon arrival, Ruby’s Inn worked with Rinnai to overhaul its water heating system.
