We at PERC have been following New York Times climate reporter Brad Plumer ever since his days at Vox. His stellar reporting on international climate policy and technology is bringing some critical issues to light and holding us all accountable to be good stewards of our planet. A recent story of his on emissions reductions as a result of COVID-19 caught our eye. Brad is asking the big question of whether we can sustain (and beat) the emissions levels from 2020, which we must do to meet our climate goals. He made a number of salient points about the main emission sources and how these industries are evolving. We had a few additional thoughts, so we broke out our green pen to add to the conversation.
